CALIFORNIA (KLTV) - Should all movies containing actors smoking be rated "R"? An anti-smoking organization says , "Yes," but some disagree.

The American Medical Association Alliance says research shows that teens who see smoking on the "big screen" are more likely to pick up the habit.

Supporters of the move say 56% of the top blockbuster movies that contained smoking from May 2007 to 2009 were youth-rated, but the Motion Picture Association of America has its own statistics. They say of all the movies rated over the past two years that contained smoking, only 26% were youth-rated.
