East Texas families are in for a special and free treat. A chance to see some art that passes the test of time.
Saturday is "Jewels Day" at the Tyler Museum of Art.
The beautiful, worldly watches from the "Jewels of Time" collection are the inspiration for a day of family fun. Not only will the kids and their parents see the collection from the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute, they will also get a chance to work with real watches.
Watchmaker Toby Troquille, of The Watchmaker in Tyler, will be working with the watch novices.
"We're going to have the kids in and they're going to get to look at the exhibit and then they are going to take apart watches and kind of educate them," says Toby Troquille, of The Watchmaker.
