Four more heroic names added to East Texas monument

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Four names were added to a monument at the downtown square in Tyler to honor officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

The four men honored at the ceremony gave their lives back in the 1800. We were there for the ceremony and captured some of their stories.

Over a century ago, James Holden and David Neal lost their lives during a prison break in 1851. Duff G. Williams was killed in the line of duty back in 1869, and Marion Norton in 1882.
