U.S.A. (KLTV) - A group of Representatives are proposing a bill that would designate 2010 as the "Year of the Bible". In the Resolution, they list eight reasons for the bill that is sponsored by Paul Broun, Jr. (R-Georgia) along with 13 co-sponsors, including East Texan, Louie Gohmert (R). Click here to read the bill.
The Resolution is still in its early stages, having been referred to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and may never make it out of committee.
What do you think about the proposal? Why or "why not" should 2010 be designated as the year of the Bible.
