TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Economic blues may have you cutting back on everything, including a certain holiday approaching. This is especially common when you wait until the last minute. To help you save a buck or two before Mother's Day we went out to find a few deals for you.

With only four days until the special holiday the question arises: What do you get your mother without hurting your wallet?

For my first stop I went to the one place I knew I could cover my bases...Hobby Lobby. Overwhelmed by the sheer selection I met up with manager Terry Smith.

Following her down the aisles she brought me to the world of scrap booking. I found that a memory book could do the trick. Plus, for a small price, you can decorate it any which way you like. With a plethora of sticker assortments you can easily add a little personalized flair. Of course, every gift needs a card, but before you buy one, get creative and make one. The rows and rows of design paper I found can give you some cheap options.

Next, I stopped by Brosang's flowers, to see if the people known for their arrangements had any cost effective choices. Owner Michael Brosang showed me the way.

"This gives them the freedom to still express their love for their mother and the purpose of what a mother does," said Brosang, explaining their special "pick your own flower" deal.

Picking out a few of her favorite flowers from Brosang's inventory on your own will go far and only cost you around $10 or $15.
