Road Controversy in Harrison County

An unusual fight between an East Texas man and the county. It's a fight to keep his favorite dirt road exactly that, dirt. Jack "Fuzzy" Harmon owns 600 acres and a home north of Marshall. He also owns a half mile dirt road, which bears his name and he wants to keep it that way.

But county commissioners, keeping campaign promises, are paving as many of the county dirt roads as possible, including his to Harmon's objections. In spite of a petition Harmon presented, the commissioners court voted to pave his road.
