EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Some say it is another attempt to declare sovereignty from the federal government.

State Representative Leo Berman of Tyler has written a bill that says all guns, gun accessories and ammunition made in the state will stay in the state and are exempt from federal regulations.

The bill has been approved by the Public Safety Committee and will now be scheduled for a House vote.

What do you think? Would this bill be beneficial or not for Texas?
