TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Just before 6PM this evening, KLTV 7 learned that a student at St. Louis school visited a doctor on Friday and was tested for the H1N1 virus. The results of that test are unavailable at this time, and it's unknown if that student was on campus at all this week.

TISD officials learned of the situation late in the afternoon, and sent a note home to parents of St. Louis school students.

TISD officials also tell KLTV 7 that part of the reason the extra measures are being taken is because students at St. Louis school have mental and physical disabilities, and could be more susceptible to any kind of sickness.

No TISD school is being closed at this time.
