Turkey in a Bag

Prepare to wash turkey (remove insides, check neck portions).

Wash turkey with cold water and vinegar solution.

Pat dry.

Brush turkey lightly with oil (peanut).

** Be sure to go all over bird and between joints.

Season Bird Example:

**Season salt, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning.

**Be sure to season cavity inside also.

Prepare sack.

1-large brown paper sack.

Oil inside of sack (vegetable spray works best).

Place turkey in bag, tie end of sack (may need to staple instead, depending on size of bird).

Place on rack inside shallow pan.

Bake at 325 approximately 1 hour per 3 pounds.
