EMORY, TX (KLTV) - A Dallas man is behind bars after police say he robbed a bank.  Around 11:00 a.m., Thursday police say Freddy Lee Criss, 46 walked into the First National Bank on Quitman St. in Emory pointing a what they thought was a pistol and demanding money from the tellers.  He then took off in a car.  A witness was able to tell Officers what the car looked like and which way it was headed.

Police say Criss stopped at a convenience store in Point to get gasoline.  A clerk at the store called authorities, and they were back on the trail.  Several Agencies and departments chased him between Loan Oak and Greenville.  DPS Troopers had to throw out spikes three different times before Criss crashed through a fence into a pasture.  Criss has been charged with the robbery of the bank.
