BIG SANDY, TX (KLTV) - They're one of the most popular reality TV show families and they're in East Texas.
"The most unique thing about our family is that it is super sized," said Jim Bob. "Everything is super sized in Texas, we've heard! Yeah, we're from Arkansas we super size things up there too."
With eight girls and 10 boys ranging from 21 to four months old there's always excitement going on.
"We stay busy day in and day out," said Michelle Duggar. "It's just non-stop action. So, that's what makes the show."
"I'm getting it ready for whoever," said Jim Bob grilling up some burgers and hot dogs. "We have a lot of hungry stomachs usually."
The Duggars are here to share how home schooling has changed their kids' lives.
"When we had our first child, Joshua, he was 4 years old and we started home schooling him and it has been one of the best decisions we've made for our family," said Michelle Duggar.
"The Bible says children are a blessing from the Lord and their a gift from him and we really believe that and it's amazing," said Jim Bob. "I mean, we never thought we would have 18 children."
I had to ask, could there be plans for more kids?
"What do think Michelle," asked Jim Bob. "I've always left it up to her."
"I would love more but I guess we'll wait and see," replied Michelle.
So stay tuned, there just may be another arrival on 18 kids and counting. Even though the Duggars aren't expecting yet, they will soon be grand parents. That's because their oldest son Josh and his wife are expecting their first baby. You can catch the 18 kids and Counting Duggar Clan every Tuesday night at eight on TLC.
