Tonight it was all about the ladies

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Hundreds of East Texans packed the Harvey Convention Center in Tyler Wednesday night, and men, you were not invited.

The 12th annual Women's Night Out brought women from all over East Texas together.  Some came for the free massages and food, but others came to see the event's special guest,  Malcolm-Jamal Warner, or Theo of The Cosby Show.  Warner took to the stage for a question and answer session.  He even took some time to sign autographs.  KLTV 7 caught up with him to find out what brought him to Tyler.

"I wanted to come to the Rose Capital," said actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner.  "Yeah, I know that.  I did my research.  No, when I was asked to come and be apart of the Women's Night Out, I mean I'm a guy.  Of course, I'm going to want to come.  I did a poem up there (on stage), you know it's kind of hard doing a poem with all these ladies, you know, screaming at you.  It's good for the ego, trust me, but it was a lot of fun, and it was a good crowd."  We also asked Warner about his time on The Cosby Show.  He says he still stays in contact with the cast, and credits the shows success to how well they got along.
