Woman arrested in connection with SFA killing threat

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - The SFA University Police Department has arrested a woman in connection with the killing threat posters that were hung throughout campus and at the Grove Apartments.

Jennifer Grant, 20, of Palestine, is charged with terroristic threat, which is a third-degree felony.

A profile page belonging to a Jennifer Grant of SFA, who graduated from Westwood High School, in Palestine, and is 20 years old, is posted on Facebook. One of her status messages, which was posted at 9:15 a.m. on April 16, states, "Read your SFA campus alerts! Not going to class."

A statement by the office of public affairs at SFA stated, "It is heartbreaking to all of us when this kind of thing happens to any member of our campus family. However, we are very proud of the great job done by our university police department who continue to keep all of us safe."
