TENAHA, TX (KLTV) - The boy involved in the Tuesday wreck in Tenaha was taken off life support and died at midnight Wednesday morning, according to a spokesman with Tenaha ISD.

Nathan Cooks, 5, and his sister, JaLyric Boykin, 7, and their aunt, Danielle Cooks, 14, were hit by a pickup truck which swerved to avoid two vehicles which were stopping for an incoming school bus. The three children were waiting for the bus.

Boykin was pronounced dead yesterday at a Center hospital.

Danielle Cooks is in stable condition at a Tyler hospital. Tenaha High School Principal Scott Tyner said she is expected to recover.
