LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - If you are considering becoming a pizza delivery person, you may want to think twice before going through with it. A pizza delivery man was robbed and shot Thursday night on his way to a home.

It happened on the 1700 block of Timpson Street. The delivery man told police that he had parked his car and while walking up to the address for his delivery, the two robbers struck. One had a handgun and they demanded his money. They took his money and forced him to lie on the ground. Once he was on the ground one of the robbers shot him in his leg. Then, they ran.

The victim described the suspects as two black men that looked like they were in their early 20s.

The pizza man was taken to Good Shepard Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

If you have any information on this robbery contact the Longview Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 903-237-1110 or Gregg County Crime Stoppers at 903-236-STOP or on the web at www.greggcountycrimestoppers.com.
