Meth and crack dealer goes to jail

TYLER, TX - A 35-year-old Tyler man has been sentenced to federal prison for drug violations.

Disifredo Baldovinos-Cardena pleaded guilty in January, to conspiracy to distribute cocaine and methamphetamine and has been sentenced to 63 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Leonard E. Davis. Baldovinos also agreed to the forfeiture of $25,000.00.

According to information presented in court, from October 2005, to September 2008, Baldovinos and others distributed 582 grams of cocaine and 56 grams of methamphetamine in Smith County. Baldovinos was indicted back in September, and charged with federal drug trafficking violations.
