SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - More than a few helping hands turned out Saturday to help make East Texas a little bit cleaner. Getting down and dirty was how volunteers in Tyler spent their Saturday at the Rose Rudman Creek Clean Up.  Trashbags lined the park as trash of all shapes and sizes was gathered in the park and along the banks of the creek.

Now for all those bulky items you may have lying around listen up.  Smith County is holding its county wide clean up April 8th through the 11th.

Citizens can now pick up their vouchers at any constalbe office to bring bulky items to the Greenwood Farms Landfill for free.
