"Are we witnessing the death of casual Friday," my boss asked me.
"I hope not," I exclaimed, wondering if he was hinting at something.
I love my "blue jean Fridays." In my mind they are sacred. It is the one day I don't have to put a lot of effort into assembling a cute outfit. Almost everything goes with blue jeans!
That said, his question is valid. With the state the economy is in are employees doing whatever it takes to show they are serious about being professionals, including dressing up on casual Friday? Can employees afford to be anything but the best in their work habits and in their work attire?
What do you think? Is casual Friday disappearing?
Fortunately for me, my boss does believe in casual Friday. Whew!
