Mother indicted on Homicide Charges in Daughters Death

An Overton woman, 24 year old Lillian Casey, has been indicted with the criminally negligent homicide of her daughter.

Toxicology reports have revealed that Casey was intoxicated when a fire broke out in her home in May.

Her 19 month old daughter died as a result of smoke inhalation and burns sustained during that fire.

Casey was arrested on Saturday night. She has since been released on bond.
