TYLER, TX (KLTV) - The first full day of spring is officially here and the Azalea's are blooming.  Visitors strolled the brick streets of Tyler, Saturday along the Historic Azalea Trail, which celebrates it's 50th anniversary this year.  The Azalea & Spring Flower Trail travels through eight miles of residential gardens and historic home sites.  Beautiful flowers and East Texas girls dressed in period dresses and greeted visitors as they enjoyed East Texas beauty.

"It's just the bright colors and all the greenery, and it's just beautiful," said visitor Jill Flynn.  "It's gorgeous."  The trail will be open every Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 a.m. through the first weekend of April.
