EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Last week, we awarded the blue ribbon, and this week's batch of restaurants could potentially be in the running...

Here are the Longview and Smith County restaurants that left inspectors beaming with pride:

We begin in Longview. At El Taquito at 1010 South Mobbery Avenue, absolutely no violations were noted - no demerits were handed out.

Down the road, Catfish King on 2338 South Mobberly Avenue was crowned with kudos. A clean kitchen yielded high marks and no demerits.

Jack's Natural Foods off 400 East Loop 281 also passed inspection with flying colors. They also received zero demerits.

Seems the king and jack are joined by one more guy, Papa John on 1409 West Loop 281. During their last visit to the location, inspector's found everything in tip-top shape.

High marks for Sonic, too, on 1400 South High Street in Longview. They had no violations - no demerits, but not to be outdone the Sonic Drive in Troup at 1807 W. Duval also stands out. Inspectors gave them perfect scores as well.
