NACOGDOCHES, TX (KLTV) - The story of the "octo-mom" had a lot of people talking last month, but another mother of octuplets is visiting East Texas with her family this week, with a little bit less fanfare.

The Chukwu family is planning a "world-tour" of sorts for their eight children this year, and after a trip to New York recently, they stopped in Nacogdoches to visit an old friend. Their mother talked to us about the secret of having a big, happy family.

"It's God that's made it possible for us and for them to survive. So, we pray a lot and teach them how to pray and how to believe and of course they know to fight is a no-no," said Chukwu. "We teach them how to share and how to read the Bible, how to love, and what love is all about."

One of the octuplets actually died about a week after they were born, but the Chukwus had another child a few years later. Her parents include her with her siblings in everything they do.
