Lumberjacks set to play on biggest stage yet

Set to make their first NCAA tournament appearance, the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks leave for Miami on Wednesday.

Taking on Syracuse this Friday, the 'Jacks will have more media attention than they have experienced before.

With huge crowds and network cameras rolling, players say there will be some butterflies.

"It's going to be big before the game," senior Josh Alexander said. "Of course we're going to be a little gutsy and have ants in our pants but once we get in the game and start playing it's just going to be another game."

"I'm going to try to not get caught up in the hype, in the crowd," junior Eric Bell said. "I know it's going to be tough but it's going to be the same mindset I've had all year and give 100 percent for my teammates."

SFA will play Syracuse Friday morning at 11:15 a.m.
