Election Signs Coming Down

The political races are all over now, but continuing to linger on the edge of East Texas roadways are the parade of campaign signs. Though it is common place in an election year, the sight can become very annoying.

According to the Texas election code, the parties have ten days to remove their campaign signs from roadways and residential areas. Many are relieved that the elections are over, so that the signs will go away. Individuals who put signs up on their own property are not libel under the code.
