NFL player hits, kills pedestrian

MIAMI BEACH, FL - Police in Miami Beach say an NFL player has been questioned after he accidentally drove into a pedestrian who died Saturday morning. 

Cleveland Browns' wide receiver Donte Stallworth, formerly with the New England Patriots, was driving his black Bentley at the time of the incident.  Authorities say Stallworth hit Mario Reyes, 59 crossing the busy MacCarthur Causeway that links downtown Miami with Miami Beach. According to authorities, the 28 year-old Stallworth has been cooperative and no charges have been filed at this time.  Results of blood and alcohol tests taken of Stallworth at the scene should be available in about two weeks.  Stallworth signed has a seven-year, $35 million contract with the Browns as a free agent. but hardly played because of injuries.
