Longview Restaurant Receives Blue Ribbon Award

Its been a while since we've given one of these away, but one east Texas restaurant has certainly earned a top honor from KLTV. A small restaurant, with country charm, Beths Cafe' at 1811 Judson road serves customers with a simple philosophy.

"We take care of our customers we give them good service and keep our place clean" said Beths employee Debbie Watkins.

They haven't had a violation of any kind from the health department over the last year, in fact the last year and a half. And that earned them the blue ribbon award.

"We're excited to present Beths Cafe with the blue ribbon award thank you guys for all your consumers the citizens of Gregg county and Longview on running a great clean restaurant , congratulations" said KLTV station manager Pat Stacy.

One of their strong suits is pretty simple.

"I love giving the customers good service I know they appreciate it and I can do it" Watkins says.

They know many of their clients by first name, and that may be their formula for success.

"This is like our home and we treat people like we would if they were in our home" says Watkins.
