Kacey Musgraves is on her way to Nashville to compete in the finals of "Nashville Star". Kacey is the third East Texan to make the finals in the five year history of the contest, and like Miranda Lambert and Casey Rivers before her, Nashville Star could be her springboard to country music success.
Although Musgraves is the youngest of this year's Nashville Star contestants at eighteen, she's been accumulating professional credits since she was seven. As a Texas Two Bit, Musgraves entertained at President Bush's first Inaugural ball and at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
Nashville Star will begin airing on USA Network January 11th. Until that time, Musgraves will be rehearsing, writing new songs, and making personal appearances.
