SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Several East Texas fire departments rushed to fight a Smith County house fire Saturday evening.

It started just after eight p.m. at a home on Smith County farm-to-market road 850.

Portions of the county road were shut down as Arp, Chapel hill, and Overton fire departments  battled the blaze.

Authorities say Hope Wells Church is located just across the street from burning home, but report no damage to the building.

No injuries have been reported.
