Released by Angela Jenkins with Tyler ISD:

A Tyler ISD elementary student will take the field at the Dallas Cowboy game this weekend. Britney Cisneros, a fourth grader at Andy Woods Elementary School, will compete at the Washington Redskin vs Dallas Cowboys football game on Sunday. Cisneros placed first in the area NFL PUNT, PASS & KICK (PPK) competition back in October. She then moved up to the sectional round where she placed 4th overall.

Cisneros will be performing for the Dallas Cowboy team championship during the pre-game events Sunday at the new Cowboy Stadium. Team Championships take place at NFL team stadiums during November and December. The competition takes place prior to the actual game. A passing exhibition will also take place during pregame.

The top four scorers from all first-place finalists in each age division for boys and girls advance to the National Finals. These 32 winners, plus two parents or guardians, travel to the Finals at an NFL playoff game in January.

The PPK program is a national skills competition for boys and girls between the ages of 8 -15 to compete separately against their peers. Girls and boys in four separate age divisions (8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15) compete against each other in punting, passing and place kicking in a fun and engaging forum.

With more than three million boys and girls from around the country taking part in the PPK competition every year from July through January, it is one of the world's largest youth sports participation programs. Established in 1961, the PPK program is the oldest NFL Youth Football program.
