FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - A few weeks ago the question for TCU was could the Horned Frogs jump over Boise State in the BCS standings. The positive answer was provided by a series of lopsided victories.
The Horned Frogs (9-0, 5-0 Mountain West) have passed Boise State, the only other undefeated team from a conference without an automatic bid in the Bowl Championship Series. And their No. 4 ranking in the BCS standings is the highest ever for an outsider chasing 1 of the big-money bowl.
Quarterback Andy Dalton believes the Frogs, who play No. 16 Utah (8-1, 5-0) at home Saturday, have made a statement by how they've won games.
TCU's last three victories have been by a combined margin of 134-19.
