YOUNG, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a man wanted on felony warrants out of Texas was arrested Tuesday in the northern Arizona city of Young.
The Gila County Sheriff's Office says 29-year-old Joseph Rene Hernandez was wanted in Galveston, Texas, for a probation violation and assault-injury to a child. Details of those cases were not immediately available.
Authorities say Hernandez was taken into custody at a home in Young and then booked into the Gila County Jail in Payson pending extradition proceedings to Galveston.
