Smith County:
Tyler Council Member, District 5 - Early voting results show 632 for Mark Whatley, 347 for Ron Shaffer, 104 for Michael Eugene Tolbert and 19 for Keith A. Pyron.

Lindale Independent School District:
Proposition 1 - Final results 1314 in favor and 755 against.
Proposition 2 - Final results 1235 in favor and 823 against.

Winona:
Wet/Dry Election - Final results 124 in favor and 106 against.

Mt.Pleasant:
Proposition 1 - Final results 490 in favor and 1148 against.
Proposition 2 - Final results 575 in favor and 1047 against.

Van Zandt County:
Proposition 1 - Final results 1001 in favor and 1442 against.
Proposition 2 - Final results 943 in favor and 1476 against.
Proposition 3 - Final results 1097 in favor and 1335 against.

State Proposition Results:

Prop 1 Finance buffer areas adjacent to military installations - With more than 1,000,000 votes cast, 55 percent are in favor, and 45 percent against.

Prop 2 Regulate how homestead ad valorem taxes are calculated - With more than 1,000,000 votes cast, 68 percent are in favor, and 32 percent against.

Prop 3 Provide uniform standards for appraising property - With more than 1,000,000 votes cast, 66 percent are in favor, and 34 percent against.

Prop 4 University fund to assist emerging research universities - With more than 1,000,000 votes cast, 57 percent are in favor, and 43 percent against.

Prop 5 Single appraisal review board for adjoining entities - With more than 1,000,000 votes cast, 62 percent are in favor, and 38 percent against.

Prop 6 Authorize the Veterans' Land Board to issue bonds - With more than 1,000,000 votes cast, 66 percent are in favor, and 34 percent against.

Prop 7 State Guard officer or member may hold other civil office - With more than 1,000,000 votes cast, 73 percent are in favor, and 27 percent against.

Prop 8 Authorize the state to contribute to veterans hospitals - With more than 1,000,000 votes cast, 75 percent are in favor, and 25 percent against.

Prop 9 Protect the right of the public to access public beaches - With more than 1,000,000 votes cast, 77 percent are in favor, and 23 percent against.

Prop 10 ESD board members' terms may not exceed four years - With more than 1,000,000 votes cast, 73 percent are in favor, and 27 percent against.

Prop 11 Limits on power of eminent domain - After more than 1,000,000 votes cast, 81 percent are in favor, and 19 percent against.
