HALLSVILLE, TX (KLTV) - They're popping up all over east Texas. Now, Harrison county's own cowboy church has a new place to call home.

Hundreds of East Texans came out for the grand opening and dedication of the new cowboy church facility in Hallsville.

The cowboy church of Harrison county started two years ago, but they wanted a bigger facility to house their members.

They say their motto is that they're god fearing friendly folks, who love the Lord and like to wear causal duds.

"Casual Duds means we want people to come wearing what they're comfortable wearing. We're not here to put on a show for each other. We don't look at each other as being the ones we're here for. We're here for God and we want to do our best for him," said Cowboy Church Pastor, Joe Hall.

The Cowboy Church of Harrison County site doesn't just have a sanctuary. It also has an arena, where the church will host ropings, barrel races, and play days.
