RICHTON, MS (WDAM) - Agents from the Forrest/Perry County Narcotics Task Force conducted a raid in Richton Tuesday and seized five marijuana plants from the back of a home on Will Best Road.
Each of the plants were 10 to 12-feet high and had the capability of producing a pound of marijuana per year.
Agents from the task force had been working the case for about four months after receiving anonymous tips the plants were being grown.
No arrests have been made as of yet, but investigators say they are imminent.
The Perry County Sheriff's Department assisted the task force in the raid.
