Michael Vick reinstated by the NFL

NEW YORK (AP) - Michael Vick has been conditionally reinstated by the NFL.

Sunday, Buffalo receiver Terrell Owens said he think Michael Vick warranted any further suspension from the NFL. Owens made his comments following the Bills training camp practice. He said extending Vick's suspension amounted to "kicking a dead horse." He also characterized NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's handling of Vick's status as "unfair." Vick met with Goodell last week.

The former Falcons star was suspended indefinitely in August 2007 after he admitted bankrolling a dog fighting operation. He completed serving a 23-month sentence this month.

Vick can participate without delay in preseason practices, workouts and meetings and can play in the final two preseason games, if he can find a team that will sign him.

Once the season begins, Vick may participate in all team activities other than games, but could play as soon as October.

What do you think? Is the NFL making the right decision? Should Vick be reinstated? Tell us your opinion.
