Guide To Digital Television

There's a new way to enjoy your favorite ABC programming in East Texas. The switch has been flipped, and KLTV 7 is now broadcasting in high definition. We're now broadcasting ABC HD programming on Cox Cable station 720 in the following cities: Tyler, Gladewater, Henderson, Jacksonville, Mineola, Mt. Vernon and Winnsboro.

What do you need? First you need a TV that is at least "HDTV Ready." If you have one, you still need an HD Tuner and an antenna, or Cox Cable service with an HD tuner cable box. If your TV is "HD Built-in," just add an antenna and you'll pick us up in HD. You can also go the cable route with this kind of TV. You'll enjoy highly enhanced resolution in widescreen and five channel surround sound.

So how is digital TV different (and better) than your old analog TV? Follow us through this step by step look at the differences between your analog TV and digital television.
