Good Wednesday Afternoon East Texas.  Spring will be visiting East Texas the next two days.  Today we will see a few clouds at times mixed with sunshine.  Highs will reach the middle to upper 70s this afternoon.  Tonight will be another mild evening with low temperatures only dropping into the middle 50s.  For our Thursday a dryline will move through the area early followed by a cold front late in the day.  There could be a stray thundershower along the dryline early but right now it looks as though most of the thunderstorms should develop off to our east.  Behind the dryline and ahead of the cold front we will see strong westerly winds with lots of sunshine.  This will allow our temperatures to soar into the lower to middle 80s, yes 80s, tomorrow afternoon.  The record highs for East Texas seem safe right now as they range between 87 and 90 for the 23^rd of February. 

Cooler air will move into the area for the weekend behind a cold front Thursday evening.  Lows for Saturday and Sunday look to drop into the 30s with highs reaching the 60s.  It also appears now the weekend will be dry as our next system should not affect the area until Monday.
