Good Saturday, East Texas!
East Texas has some patchy fog across the area. As the land heats up from the rising sun, the fog will diminish. Temperatures are mild this morning, but they have a long way to go as we head towards the afternoon. It will be warm and in the 80s before the morning is over. The heat has more in store. By the afternoon, highs will be in the low 90s. If you have plans, you should be fine today. Pop up showers are once again a possibility, but if you happen to have a pop up shower in your area, it won't last long, but most will stay bone dry under mostly sunny skies.
Fall is officially here! Many are excited about the new season, but you may want to get your pumpkin spice latte iced because highs are going to stay pretty warm. High pressure will help us remain mostly sunny and warm today. Not much will change in the next few days. A cold front will pass through Wednesday and will help to cool things down a little. By the middle of the week we will have highs in the upper 80s, and as we close out the work week highs will be in the low 80s. Overnight lows will feel really nice by Friday as well, with temperatures in the low 60s. The cold front will also increase rain chances to 30% for Wednesday and Thursday under mostly cloudy skies. Conditions clear up by the end of the week.
