McFarlin, Star Continue To Shine on "Greatest American Dog"

One of East Texas' stars has earned another week on television.

Flint's Bill McFarlin and his dog, Star, are competing on the "Greatest American Dog."

Star was in the "Best In Show" group again on the episode that aired Thursday night. The duo will battle again next week.

Filming of the show is complete, but Bill cannot reveal how far he and Star made it. Bill said keeping that secret is a thrill.

"I love it," he laughed. "I love keeping this secret. I haven't told Sherry (my wife) anything. We've been married 37 years next weekend, and this is the first time I've been able to keep a secret!"

Bill said during the first two weeks of the show, he received 600 emails from all around the country.
