Take a close look your hamburgers this Fourth of July, because even more beef is being added to the recall list.

Kroger has expanded its voluntary recall of some ground beef products to its stores in more than 20 states, including its Longview store.

The recall now includes beef sold under the Private Selection Natural label at Fred Meyer's Grocery Stores -- which are owned by Kroger.

The recalled beef has sell-by dates from mid-may through mid-July. Kroger issued the recall after illnesses caused by the e. Coli bacteria were reported in Michigan and Ohio.

The original recall only included beef sold in those two states.

Now, with the holiday approaching some shoppers say they're worried about the safety of their food.

Other stores affected by the recall include QFC, Ralph's, Smith's, Baker's, King Soopers, City Markets, Hilander, Owen's, Pay Less and Scott's.

Consumers who have questions about the recall are urged to contact Kroger at 800-632-6900.
