Patrick KellyThe trial of Patrick Kelly, defendent in the Mineola child sex ring trials and accused of sexual assault of a child, which was scheduled to begin today has been postponed because of criminal charges against one of the prosecution's possible witnesses.
John Cantrell, foster parent to some of the children involved in the case, was arrested last week on eighteen year old sexual assaultcharges out of California. The trial is now scheduled to begin on June 20th, Judge Jack Skeen Jr., decided Monday.
Margie Cantrell, John Cantrell's wife, has said the allegations against her husband are untrue, and stem from behavioral problems with a daughter they had adopted out of foster care.
