Gearing-up for an important East Texas fundraiser. Saturday, classic cars, trucks and motorcycles cruised down Broadway in Tyler. It's all a preview for the annual East Texas Auto and Cycle Show. The show is one of the biggest fund raisers for the East Texas Crisis Center and victims of sexual assault.
"Last year the East Texas Auto and Cycle Show net proceeds were $100,000 and all of that money went to the East Texas Crisis Center," said East Texas Crisis Center Special Events Coordinator Carrie Brantley. "Unfortunately, domestic violence and sexual assault are a big problem here in East Texas, so we like to have a lot of fun to raise money for a very serious cause." The East Texas Auto and Cycle Show is next weekend at the Harvey Convention Center in Tyler. Tickets are $10 dollars at the door; children under 12 get in for free.
