
After a month of stalled negotiations, the United Steelworkers and Goodyear Corporate are heading back to the bargaining table trying to work out the details of a new contract.
For nine weeks now, thousands of union workers have been on strike, because they say the company intends to shut down the Tyler plant and cut retiree benefits. The negotiations will take place in Pittsburgh.
