Debbie Dial began working with stained glass about fifteen years ago. She says from the very first she "was hooked." Debbie's husband John got interested after seeing her work evolve, and nine years ago they opened "Glass Creations Stained Glass and Gifts" in Winnsboro.
The Dials' stained glass creations range from large church and home windows to wedding anouncements, crosses decorated with antique broaches, and even kaleidoscopes. Much of the Dials' work is in custom orders from customers with sometimes definite, or more often vague, ideas of what they want. These glass artists work with their customers until everyone is pleased with the outcome.
Just working with this centuries-old art and seeing little piles of colored glass form into something beautiful, has its' own rewards.
