Another successful, jam-packed Women's Night Out and a chance for East Texas women to leave their men behind and just go out with the girls.
The twice-a-year event was held tonight at the Harvey Conventon Center in Tyler. A few thousand women packed the building, enjoying such things as the Men's Sleepwear Style Show, featuring 10 overnight package delivery men.
The hottest attraction: Colby Donaldson from "Survivor," on stage in front of many screaming women. He later signed autographs and posed for photos with fans waiting in a long line. The rising star says it was nice to be back in his home state.
"You know, I do a lot of these appearance, but it seems like the ones that are back in Texas are not only more fun for me, but it's so exciting that people... Texas is where my fans are. I mean, that's a majority of my fan base because I'm a Texas boy," he said.
"He is the reason I still watch "Survivor" because he is the hottest thing on TV," Melissa Evans, a fan from Longview, said. "And I even left work early to do this."
She and other women also came for the free food and massages and to see the latest products from East Texas vendors.
By the way, Donaldson is single, and you'll see a lot more of him in JAG, Schick razor commercials, and other TV shows.
