SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Tony Parker scored 20 points and Kawhi Leonard added 18 yesterday as the San Antonio Spurs topped the Memphis Grizzlies 105-83 in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals. Danny Green had 16 points for the Spurs, who raced out to a 17-point lead in the first quarter. Game 2 is tomorrow night in San Antonio.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - The Texas Rangers beat Detroit 11-8 last night, despite three home runs from Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera. David Murphy put the Rangers ahead with a three-run shot in the sixth. Cabrera finished with four hits and five RBIs for the Tigers.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Jeff Locke allowed three hits over seven innings yesterday to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 1-0 win over the Houston Astros. Pedro Alvarez homered for the Pirates, who won for the eighth time in 10 games. Astros starter Lucas Harrell took the loss despite giving up just one run in seven innings.

IRVING, Texas (AP) - Sang-Moon Bae won the Byron Nelson Championship yesterday for his first PGA Tour title. The 26-year-old Bae beat Keegan Bradley by strokes after blowing a four-stroke lead. Bradley was trying to become the Nelson's first wire-to-wire winner since Tom Watson in 1980.
