PLANO, Texas (AP) - Several women have been arrested on organized crime charges after law enforcement officers broke up an alleged prostitution ring in North Texas. Dallas police and the FBI are part of the investigation into spas allegedly operating as brothels. Raids on Monday targeted two spas and a home in Dallas.
WACO, Texas (AP) - Authorities in Central Texas are asking for the public's help in solving about two dozen suspicious fires. Waco police and fire officials are seeking tips after blazes in the past 18 months mainly at vacant homes. Investigators say the fires happened in the northern part of the city.

BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) - A Southeast Texas dentist has pleaded guilty to health care fraud. Seventy-year-old Terrence Ewing Syler yesterday also agreed to forfeit more than $829,000. Prosecutors say Syler defrauded Medicaid by submitting claims for devices never provided to patients.
