TITUS COUNTY, TX - (KLTV) - At 6:30 Thursday morning, a shots fired call brought Titus County Sheriff's Department to VOCNET, a business at 3501 CR 2100, where they found two bodies.
According to Titus County Sheriff, Tim Ingram, 48-year-old, Lee Boyd who worked as a driver for VOCNET, shot co-worker Junior Lee Whorton, 35, with a 12 gauge shot gun then turned it on himself.
A search of Boyd's home revealed he had allegedly killed his girlfriend, Vivian Mitchell, age unknown.
Investigators believe Boyd killed Whorton because he was a former boyfriend of Ms. Mitchell and also because he was disgruntled over numerous job cuts at VOCNET, a company that trains those with physical and mental impairments to join the workforce.
At this time investigators are not sure of the cause of death of Ms. Mitchell.
Boyd is believed to have been looking for one other victim who somehow escaped.
