KILGORE,TX - Police captured two suspects after they allegedly robbed Adult Video and DVD located at 1907 Industrial Ave. in Kilgore, early Monday morning.
While police were in route to the video store, a description of the suspects and the suspect vehicle was given over the police radio.
Kilgore Police Officer Rob Farnham located the vehicle near the Kilgore traffic circle. Officer Farnham, with the assistance of other Kilgore Police Officers, was able to stop the vehicle and apprehend two suspects.
The suspects were identified as Christopher Ray Fitzgerald, 20, of Longview and John Scott Kincaid, 21, of Kilgore. Police also recovered 50 pornographic movie videos from the vehicle identified as stolen from the store. A Ruger automatic handgun was also recovered along with a face mask.
Both suspects were booked into the Kilgore City Jail for Aggravated Robbery a Felony one offense. Police have reason to believe the suspects are also associated with two other recent armed robberies in the Kilgore area. One previous robbery occurred at Adult Video and DVD on Friday, 04-10-2009 and another on Thursday, 04-09-2009, at the EZ-Mart convenience store located on Hwy 349 in Kilgore. Both are being investigated by the Kilgore Police Department and the Gregg County Sheriff's Office.
