All is calm and quiet in East Texas. An area of high pressure will be responsible for the clear skies tonight. Overnight lows are expected to drop into the middle 40s. It will be a cool morning for sure, but afternoon highs will make an impressive comeback. Mostly sunny skies and the wind direction switching back to a southerly flow will provide just what we need to have a warm afternoon. Highs for Monday will reach close to 80 degrees for most of the area. Tuesday has a similar forecast, but slightly warmer.
The next chance for rain will come during the middle of the week. A frontal passage will help to produce rain on Wednesday. Highs will stay warm in the 80 throughout the work week, but with increased rain chances for the weekend, and another cold front sweeping through, highs will dip back down into the 70s by next Sunday.
